Dr. Jessica Meister

Dr. Jessica Meister is a clinical neuropsychologist based in New York City specializing in the evaluation of children, adolescents, and young adults. Her passion lies in helping individuals with academic, attentional, social-emotional, and/or occupational difficulties to identify and address these challenges through validated psychological assessment, clinical interactions, therapeutic feedback, and educational advocacy.

Dr. Meister graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Spanish. She subsequently obtained her Doctorate in School-Clinical Child Psychology from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology of Yeshiva University. Dr. Meister completed her postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at the Center for Attention and Learning at Lenox Hill Hospital – Northwell Health.

Dr. Meister established her private practice in 2017 with a mission to connect with families, provide answers, instill hope, and set her clients up for success. She is inspired by the resilience of her clients and their families, and strives to further encourage areas of strength while simultaneously finding the right support for their learning and emotional needs. Dr. Meister loves learning about each client as a whole individual and finding ways to support development, self-esteem, and overall well-being.

Dr. Meister previously held a dual-appointment within the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. As a member of the NYPH School-Based Mental Health Prevention Team, Dr. Meister provided school consultation, parent workshops, and educational advocacy in various public elementary schools in Washington Heights and Harlem. As a former Assistant Clinical Professor of Medical Psychology in Psychiatry, she is devoted to education and mentoring, consulting with other professionals, and teaching doctoral students. 

Dr. Meister is known for developing strong therapeutic relationships with her clients and promoting the implementation of appropriate interventions in order to effect positive future outcomes.

  • Clinical Psychologist, Diplomate in School Neuropsychology

    Dr. Hugh Love is a licensed clinical psychologist in NY state with expertise in clinical services with children, adolescents, and young adults. He is a Diplomate in School Neuropsychology, certified by the American Board of School Neuropsychology. Dr. Love is currently a staff psychologist in a community-based program at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/CUIMC and Assistant Professor of Medical Psychology (in Psychiatry) at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Love received his doctorate in School Psychology from Fordham University in New York City and holds a Masters in Counseling from New York University. Dr. Love has considerable experience in evaluation and assessment specializing in psychological, psychoeducational, and neuropsychological testing for psychiatric and school-related issues.

  • Associate Neuropsychologist

    Dr. Enitan Marcelle is a licensed clinical psychologist in NY state, and specializes in providing neuropsychological, psychological, psychoeducational, and autism assessments. Dr. Marcelle received her doctoral degree in Clinical Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and completed a fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at the Promise Clinic at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Her interests include both research and educational advocacy. Dr. Marcelle's research focuses on the development of executive function and attention skills, and she has particular expertise in providing assessment and intervention for children and adolescents experiencing challenges in these areas.

  • Postdoctoral Psychologist

    Dr. Ruby Rhoden received her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey and her bachelor’s in Psychology from Cornell University. Dr. Ruby completed her internship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York and she is currently a first-year postdoctoral fellow in clinical psychology at a private practice in New York City.

    Dr. Ruby offers psychoeducational testing for adults, adolescents, and children to provide a better understanding of psychological and cognitive strengths, weaknesses, and patterns of behavior. She has considerable experience evaluating neurodevelopmental and mood disorders to provide tailored recommendations for school, home, standardized testing, and workplace settings.

  • Program Assistant

    Sophia Fineberg is an M.S.W. candidate at Yeshiva University. For her field placement, she works as a therapist, and she has a particular interest in working with children and families. Her background is in Psychology, and she received her B.A. from Barnard College in 2022.

  • Neuropsychology Extern

    Isabelle Selko earned her B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Human Development from the University of Maryland, College Park. During her time as an undergraduate, Isabelle was a teaching assistant for a developmental psychology course and a research assistant in two labs focused on early childhood education and social and moral development. She is currently a third-year student in the School-Clinical Child Psychology PsyD program at Pace University. Upon the completion of her degree, Isabelle aspires to work with children and families.

  • Masters Level Intern

    Kimberly Katz is an M.A. Candidate in Social-Organizational Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University. She received her B.A. in Psychology from Barnard College, Columbia University. She is passionate about clinical psychology across the lifespan and has a special interest in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and the connection between autoimmune diseases and mental health. After she graduates from her current master’s program in May of 2024, Kimberly plans to continue her graduate education in clinical psychology.
